Located off of the coast of Galway Inishmore Island is part of the idea Aran Islands Group. What are its attractions though and how does it compare with other international islands?

The Inishmore Story
The main island on Aran Island Group it is about 40 minutes by ferry to get here, or an 8 minute prop-plane flight. The main trade here is tourism which is mainly a thing in the summer.
In winter there is the infamous TedFest celebration which brings in the tourists. Aside from that there are four pubs, lots of farmland and a sink hole. This is very much rural Ireland, but still more going on than on Mannion Island.

Can you buy Inishmore
It consists of private land, homes, businesses and the like to technically you could alll but purchase Inishmore. It would though cost tens of millions. For all intents this island is very much inhabited.

Summary on Inishmore
A great place to visit, as well as making a perfect recreation of Craggy Island from Father Ted fame.
It is though cold as hell, so not the place to invest if you are looking for something tropical. Living here though would not be unpleasant and overall I reminds you of a countryside bygone age for both the United Kingdom and indeed the Republic of Ireland.
